Frequently Asked Questions:

Reach out to us if your question isn't answered below.

How will the kids stay warm in the cold months?

We will be moving our bodies ALOT! The kids will keep warm by packing and wearing many layers. We will provide hard shells to go over fleece soft layers to keep your child dry.
We will also have access to heaters and fire pits during the coldest days of the year.

What is the staff to student ratio?

At our farm site, there will be three teachers and 12 enrolled students.

How does farm school work with the animal interactions?

We will likely have the animals out to free roam. We have spaces set-up that are not animal accessible, so the children will be able to focus on other things. We are so excited to get to spend our days watching salmon swim upstream, tending our garden, learning about kindness and making friends with the animals on the farm.

There are 2 cows, a small herd of alpacas, chickens, dogs and a barn cat on the farm. All animals are vaccinated and child-experienced.
