We are so excited to get your kids actively learning and engaging with nature. Our unique programs encourage your child's development in all domains through the exploration and appreciation of nature! We offer two fully outdoor classrooms - one in a beautiful community park and the other on a fully functioning farm!
About Us
Our Story
Forest Friends is the dream of two college friends who have a genuine love for children. We are now college graduates who have both worked in childcare for over eight years. We started a summer camp to get young kids outdoors and exploring the PNW and now are able to offer that to children year round. We are so excited to grow together as we bring our fierce passion for outdoor education and play-led learning to your family. We value the warm and close-knit environment that develops in a small school between families, staff and students and work hard to facilitate that closeness. We are excited to welcome your family into our community!
Why Outdoor Education?

Nature-based preschools allow children to learn as they explore and engage with complex ecological systems. Children build strength, self-confidence, and learn to manage risks as they tumble, trip, and navigate the great outdoors.
